This course provides students who are majoring in Business Administration or Economics with a structured introduction to career exploration and internship preparation. Students will assess their interests, strengths, and values; explore career pathways in business and economics; and learn how to translate academic experiences into employer-ready language. Emphasis is placed on career search skills, including strategies for identifying and securing internships, navigating a Career Fair, résumé and cover letter preparation, online profile development, and participation in a mock interview. Through guided activities and engagement with community partners, students will build career readiness competencies prioritized by employers and develop clear professional goals to inform upper-division coursework and internship decisions.
Declared major in Business Administration or Economics; completion of at least 6 hours of ACC, BUS, ECO, or HOS courses
