PSY-423: Reproductive Mental Health

Reproductive Mental Health relates to the health and wellbeing of all people; as we are all the product of reproduction! This course will focus on the intersection between the biological, social, and psychological aspects of reproduction. In the course, using a scientific research lens, we will examine topics such as adjusting to parenthood, infertility and pregnancy loss, postpartum mental health, race and health disparities in reproductive health, LGBTQ+ family building, third party reproduction, single parenting by choice, and trauma-informed pregnancy.
