This is a transitional French course for students who have completed FRE-205 and are not ready to move on to the 300 level. Through a variety of readings and other resources--including poems, songs, advertisements, guidebooks, cookbooks, and films--students expand their vocabulary, learn grammar structures, and explore subject-specific content that prepares them for the advanced level while equipping them with specific professional knowledge (hospitality). Field trips, guest speaker lectures, and in-class demos are included.
