Meredith is one of the largest independent women’s colleges in the U.S., with an enrollment of approximately 1700 students. Rigorous scholarship in a personalized environment is the hallmark of a Meredith education. Our students are challenged academically through more than 90 majors, minors, and concentrations, and their learning is reinforced through experiential opportunities on campus, in the community, and around the world. Internships, community-based learning, study abroad, and undergraduate research allow students to apply their strengths and acquire the knowledge and skills employers desire. Our students are prepared for success when they graduate – whether they pursue careers or continue studies in graduate or professional schools.
At the graduate level, Meredith offers a variety of coeducational degree and certificate programs. Master’s degrees are offered in biomedical sciences, business, criminal justice, education, nutrition, and psychology. Graduate-level certificates are offered in behavioral forensics, criminal justice, criminal justice and substance use disorder, dietetic internship, and graduate certificates with teacher licensure (GCL) in art, dance, family and consumer sciences, secondary English, secondary math, secondary science, secondary social studies, or theatre. Post-baccalaureate certificates in digital communication, digital media, paralegal, and pre-health are also offered. Every program challenges students to expand their skills, build on their strengths, and advance their careers, whether they are seeking professional growth in their field or pursuing a career change.
