Mathematics and Computer Applications

Electives in CS, MAT as follows approved by the department head:

• Computer Language (3 credit hours)

• CS Elective (200 or above) (3 credit hours)

• Applied Math or CS Elective (3 credit hours)

• The following courses can be applied toward the Applied Math or CS Elective: CS-262/ MAT-262, MAT-345, MAT-354, CS-360/MAT-360, MAT-371, and any CS course.
• Not open to CSC or MAT majors.
• Only three courses (MAT-181 or MAT-191, MAT-212, and MAT-175 or MAT-248) can count toward minors in both Statistics and Mathematics and Computer Applications.
• Only three courses (MAT-181 or MAT-191, MAT-212, and one additional course) can count toward minors in both Mathematics and Mathematics and Computer Applications.
• Only three courses (MAT-181 or MAT-191, MAT-212, and MAT-175 or MAT-248) can count toward minors in both Applied Mathematics and Mathematics and Computer Applications.
