A maximum of 3 combined hours of MAT-299/MAT-498/MAT-499 can count towards, at most, one of the following: Mathematics major, Mathematics minor, Applied Mathematics minor, or Statistics minor.

  • MAT courses at the 300-level or above (9 credit hours)

• Option 2

  • Additional MAT courses at the 300-level or above (6 credit hours)

• MAT electives at the 200 level or above (3 credit hours)

1. Choose 8 credit hours from the following, BIO-111/BIO-141 or BIO-112/BIO-142, and BIO numbered 210 or above 
2. CHE-111/CHE-141 - CHE-112/CHE-142 General Chemistry I and II (8 credit hours)
3. PHY-211/PHY-241 - PHY-212/PHY-242 General Physics I and II (8 credit hours)
4. Or 6-7 credit hours of Computer Science from: CS-140, CS-156, CS-212, CS-230, CS-301, CS-311, and CS-355
