This course outlines the planning of educational programs for students with exceptionalities in grades K–12. Learners will examine educational research on instructional strategies for specially designed instruction (SDI), which is tailored to a particular student, and Data-Based Individualization (DBI), the systematic use of assessment data to monitor student progress and provide targeted interventions. Field experience required.
